TMI Annual Convention 2019

Early Bird booking is open for the 2019 Tourism Management Institute Annual Convention taking place in Chester on 23-24 October. This is the event for anyone working, studying or interested in tourism destination management who want to find out about current issues affecting tourism.

Day one sees a repeat of our highly-rated Practitioner/Student Summit with a mix of student, practitioner and topical speakers and the opportunity to participate in speed networking sessions. In the afternoon there are a choice study tours covering topics as diverse as interpreting heritage for a younger generation, targeting the luxury market around the world and the changing shape of city centres. Our evening activities will take place at the unique Storyhouse.

The main convention takes place at the Queens Park Campus adjoining the River Dee and includes a mix of plenary speakers, break outs and panel discussion on topical issues.

This event is open to anyone involved in destination management with Early Bird rates (all plus VAT) for members of partner associations ie ATCM, Tourism Alliance, HTF, BAFA, BD, TS and RPTI, IPM, starting at £195 for the full two day event or £150 for 24th only, non Member rates are £220 for the full event or £180 for 24th only, TMI Members from £130 and student rates from £20.
