TMI Spring 'Hot Topic' Conference (London)

The event will be taking place in central London at the University of Westminster’s Regent Street building, just a 5 minute walk from Oxford Circus tube station. Registration is from 10.00 am and the event will finish at 5.30 pm, allowing delegates to take advantage of off-peak fares.

The programme focusses on how you can enhance the appeal of your destination through events and experiences so we are delighted that Will Glendinning, author of “The Facts of Live” will be sharing his exploration of how brands, governments and agencies can most powerfully utilise the art and science, or craft, of theatre to conceive, procure and produce live events with more creativity, new ideas and innovation to deliver the greatest value and impact.

TMI is equally pleased to welcome Professor Greg Richards, whose presentation “Making Better Places Through Experiences and Events” will ask how cities can use programmes of experiences and events to make themselves better to live in, visit, work in and invest in to share with delegates how good placemaking can help boost tourism and improve tourist destinations.

Other speakers confirmed to date include:
• Humphrey Walwyn – Event & Experience Research, VisitEngland
• Roger Pride, Heavenly – international case studies in destination product development
