BVEP Elects Chris Skeith as New Chair & Expands Executive Committee to Support Recovery of UK Events Sector

The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) has today elected Chris Skeith OBE, currently Director of EIA – representing AEO/AEV/ESSA, as its new Chair. The appointment, which takes place with immediate effect, will see Chris take up the role on a two-year term taking over from Simon Hughes, who moves into the role of Immediate Past Chair.

BVEP publishes its ‘Shape of Events’ Report

The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP), the umbrella body and advocacy group representing the UK events sector, has today published its Shape of Events Report.

The report was compiled using responses from over 300 professionals and organisations from across the UK events sector and authored by Richard Smith from Team Tourism Consulting and John Gallery, Chair of the BVEP’s Research Group.
